Back to school has created a big shift in everyone's morning routines this month with having to get back into a routine after 6 months of not having to rush out the door.. or maybe for you your schedule stayed the same and you have continued to fight the battle of do I stay in bed and get more sleep or get up and eat breakfast ( I know I have been there).
Over the years I have found that getting in a ๐๐๐๐ก๐ฉ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ง๐๐๐ ๐๐๐จ๐ฉ when your mornings are busy can be a ๐ง๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐ก๐ก๐๐ฃ๐๐. Our family is blessed to have schedules that allow lots of flexibility, especially in the mornings. But once our oldest started school last year and now having a 9 month old in the house mornings are not as bountiful with time as they used to be.
This week I put together my top smoothie recipes for you to enjoy and make your mornings a little bit easier! I have found these to be LIFESAVER for breakfast or lunch. Whether momma is too tired to prepare something or we are just in a rush to get somewhere, these are great to lean on! In the recipes I like to use a vegan protein in them that is packed full of vitamins, minerals and nutrients โ and not loaded with the bad stuff like whey, artificial ingredients or dies. Itโs is important to choose a high quality protein so that you know you are only putting good things into your gas pipe ๐. The reason itโs a good idea to add a reputable protein in there is because the foods we eat today just arenโt as nutrient dense as they used to be so itโs great to have something like this on hand to add a good boost to them and make sure your getting everything you need. If you want a recommendation DM me and I will give you the name of a great brand!
By adding these awesome recipes into your week, you are not only getting an amazing ๐ฃ๐ช๐ฉ๐ง๐๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ ๐ข๐๐๐ก that is delicious. You are also ๐๐ง๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ช๐ฅ ๐ข๐ค๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ข๐ in your week to do other things you wanted to get to... even if that means just sitting and sipping a warm cup of tea!

Pro (time saving) tip:
Prepare a week worth of smoothies by getting some reusable zip bags (I love these silicone ones from Amazon.ca) and make smoothie packs to make mornings even easier! You do this by putting all your frozen ingredients for one smoothie in the bag (except for the liquid). Then when its time to make it just dump the contents into your blender and add your liquid! Boom, bing, boom and your (hopefully) out the door.
Have fun with it and enjoy playing with the different flavors.
