This week I wanted to share with you a all some fun dinner ideas to help make your week go just a little bit smoother. Especially with back to school it can be hard to know what to make that will fill their bodies and feed their brains!

Now I will admit, cooking and baking are something I have always loved doing but when I started learning how to cook healthy, nutritious meals vs. the fried chicken and potatoes (or apple pie loaded with white sugar in it) that I got really good at making. I thought it was such a challenge... at the time to make the transition. Seven years ago when I started my healthy living journey I thought it would be so complicated to learn how to cook without mainstream things like white sugar, (wheat) flour, dairy or soy but I was quick to learn that it was mostly in my head and cooking "healthy" was actually simple and easy! Cooking healthy is really no different from cooking with all the other crap that I was putting in my body (and slowly killing me). It just meant I had to fill my cupboard with all the right things and get rid of the crap.... and all of a sudden I was cooking healthy without giving it much though!


So here they are, 5 easy to follow recipes to help start you off with some great nutrition with you and your family this week. When you feed your body with the right things you are going to feel really good. And remember, you should feel good all the time. Bloating, aches and pains aren't normal!
